This short highlight film was created after my time working with artist David Kassan as he painted portraits of Holocaust survivors and documented their stories. I had the honor of running cameras not only while David created his portraits, but also during the survivors’ interviews—capturing both the delicate artistic process and the powerful testimonies being preserved. The film offers a brief but meaningful glimpse into a project rooted in memory, storytelling, and creative remembrance.
