ABOUT ME

Ever since I picked up my first camera in fifth grade, I’ve been captivated by the power of storytelling through visual media. What began as an obsession with capturing life’s fleeting moments evolved into a deeper passion for uncovering truth, amplifying voices, and sharing human stories through film.

I pursued this passion at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning a degree in Digital Storytelling and Anthropology. My studies combined creative production with a deep understanding of culture, identity, and humanity. With a concentration in peace studies and social justice, I learned to approach filmmaking with empathy, awareness, and intention.

My anthropological background shapes the way I create. It influences the stories I tell, the communities I collaborate with, and the lens through which I view the world. Every project I take on carries elements of inclusivity, activism, and social awareness, using documentary film as a platform for impact.

I believe in the transformative power of documentary filmmaking—to inspire change, shift perspectives, and bring people closer together. My work seeks to educate, empower, and engage audiences by shining light on underrepresented stories and fostering meaningful dialogue.

I’m always seeking to grow in my craft and connect with others who are passionate about creating purposeful media.

Let’s tell stories that matter—together.
